I've mentioned before that Young Son attends McA- a whole-child focused, parent participation, K-8 school in our area. One of the highlights of the school is the number of activities that are child driven. And one of those would be the annual variety show- which was held tonight.
Young son and his friend, I, performed a skit that they wrote themselves called Robert the Robber and Inspector No Clue. In spite of the fact that I may not be completely objective- I can honestly say that it was one of the better acts tonight. There were a few acts that were terrific- a song/skit of There's a hole in the bucket comes to mind. And then there are those acts where you're just glad that there is a one and a half minute time limit. "Darth Vader burps the ABC's" from last years show is a classic example...
All in all- it was an entertaining show with plenty of variety. And really what else can you ask for?

Sounds like you had a great night. I think the Darth Vader would have been funny for the first 10 seconds or so. How are things in Sunny Silcon Valley. We are going to sure be freezing here the next couple of days.
That's awesome! I can't wait till my kids are old enough to do stuff like that.
And I tagged you for a meme. :)
