A Meme about Me...

Alright- Missy at It's Almost Naptime tagged me for a meme... Since this is my first meme, I was a little intimidated... But anyway- here it goes!

1) I love Disneyland... It's cheesy I know- but it really is my happy place. My favorite ride is Soarin', or Splash Mountain, or Grizzly Rapid River Run, or Small World, or Peter Pan, or Pirates... But NOT the Tower of Terror! I'm an annual pass holder even though we live 360 miles away.

2) I also love to travel in spite of the crazy things that always seem to happen to me. Things like moped accidents in Rome (two in one day!), throwing up on a church deacon in Israel (we are now very close friends with him and his wife!), getting pulled over for special security screening in customs (and missing my flight three quarters of the way home from my first trip to Africa), switching identical carry on bags with another passenger when getting off a plane in Amsterdam (his bag was better than mine and had cruise tickets in it. We switched back before he missed his connecting flight to Venice- sigh...). There's even a name for this phenomenon- LeeAnn Stories...

3) I have a long standing fascination, bordering with obsession, with Mount Everest. I would love to see the mountain close up or go to base camp- although I'm not really interested in climbing it (A LeeAnn Story involving frostbite and altitude sickness would be bad!) So far my fascination has been limited to me living vicariously through others...

4) I eat M&Ms by color. First I sort them them start with the largest color group and eat my way down to the smallest...

5) I have two wedding anniversaries because our pastor (whom we are good friends with) mis-dated our marriage license. He has couples sign the license at the rehearsal dinner to get it out of the way. He forgot to post-date our license and we didn't notice until 5 years later when we went to the county to get a copy... Now he sends us a "Happy Anniversaries" card each March.

6) I have a small tattoo on the inside of my right foot- just below my ankle. It was a pre I'm-going-to-turn-30-so-I-need-to-do-something-young-and-crazy thing. It's a purple pansy. It didn't hurt to get the tattoo, but I wouldn't get another because of how badly it itched as it healed!
