So to celebrate my birthday- my good friend, L, organized a few of my friends to go to dinner tonight. I've been wanting to try something new, so we're meeting at Zeni, an Ethiopian restaurant...
On my past two trips to Africa, we have eaten fantastic food. So I'm excited to try cuisine from a different part of the continent.
I am curious about Ethiopian food however, since my first thoughts regarding this country are famine and drought- thanks to this song (one of my all time favorite child-of-the-80's Christmas songs)...
I'm sure it won't be too authentic and we'll have a fantastic meal... I'll report back later!
