Now that my missions banquet is over and I can breathe again- I have a pressing question for you all...

Is anyone else having trouble using Blogger's spell check?

When I press the spell check button- nothing happens. I have taken to writing my post, posting it, and then copying it into a word document to spell check. Then, if there are any errors, I have to go back and edit my post.

So you can see, it's a very cumbersome way to write...

Am I the only person having trouble with this? Does anyone know how to help?

Thanks!

LeeAnn

Hi LeeAnn. I just thought I’d write a quick note to thank you for your comment on my blog back on January 11th. Yeah, I know I'm really late with the thanks but every year I get sucked into the vortex of my job in January and don’t make it out until March 15th generally. I telecommute for a truly wonderful financial advisory firm in DC, but tax season is the absolute bane of my existence. It kills my blogging groove. (smile)

My husband, Jeff, and I know Scott and Karen Hanson well. We’re both MKs as well and went to school with them at RVA in Kenya - I've actually known Karen since 1st grade, and was in their wedding back in 1990. I was very much hoping to see them while they've been on furlough this year, but am still nursing a baby and they are only going to be here for a couple more weeks. It’s very sad for me since the opportunity to see one another comes so infrequently. I’m secretly hoping that we’ll get back to Africa in the few years for a long, long visit. We’re trying to build an orphanage in Embu, Kenya (the effort has temporarily stalled due to the civil unrest from the recent election debacle) and since it is really my baby I desperately want to be there to watch the doors being opened. From there TZ is just a short hop away. I'd love to know how you guys met the Hansons and were able to visit them in TZ. And just out of curiosity, did you take your kids?

Happy President's Day - and your blog is great, by the way. I love your new design. I struggle with pretty much all of Blogger and am considering a move to WordPress. Blessings, Melanie Freshour
