The Steven's Creek fire is continuing to burn on the ridge above our home and is now at about 50% containment. The 400 firefighters on the scene are hoping for 100% by this evening... Several firefighters have suffered minor injuries- mostly due to heat exhaustion (we have been experiencing a heat wave this week with temperatures in the high 90's). So now back to normal life- we're going camping this afternoon and will return on Monday. I'm sure I'll have some stories to tell then!
