All in a day's work...

As I mentioned in a previous post, I'm still working at the doctor's office. On Tuesdays, Dr N, works out of another office in Los Gatos. Today I went and worked in that office, so that my friend C could catch up on some stuff in the main office...

It was one of those "if anything can go wrong, it will" kind of days. I started the morning off by turning off the server (thinking that I was turning on my computer). Shortly thereafter, I ran a patients credit card through the wrong visa machine (it's a group office) so I had to credit the co-pay back and then re-run it on our doctor's visa machine... Then I had to go back to the patient and explain what an idiot I am... Yes, indeed- good times!

Anyway, it's all over for today, and I'm off until Monday. I still have laundry to do tonight and packing (although we'll only be gone for two nights, so we don't have to pack that much). Tomorrow morning Teenage Daughter has an 8:45 am appointment to get her braces put on (this is the second round), then we'll load her up with ibuprofen and hit the road...
